"A & E visit august 13/8/2014"

About: Bradford Royal Infirmary

I took my daughter to have a ring removed. The staff on the desk were pleasant, straightforward as they took details. We were triaged and immediately the nurse in triage spoke to a member of staff, who was run off his feet to arrange to remove the ring. It wasn't life or death but her finger was blue and circulation failing. This member of staff engaged a lovely male nurse to remove it and everyone was happy. It was busy and all of the staff were as lovely and efficient as ever. Earlier on in the year I had breathing difficulties and I couldn't thank them enough. Big up Bradford, keep up the good work.

I hope that your daughter's finger has recovered, it sounds very scary. Thank you so much for your kind comments about the Accident and Emergency department, it is an incredibly busy area and the staff work very hard. Your comments will be shared with the team; they will appreciate the fact that you have taken the time to post them. Thank you.
