"self imposed anguish"

About: Royal Orthopaedic Hospital

having a very active imagination; as I have, is necessary for a fiction -writer, which I am, but which left me in a very bad place anticipating the forearm surgery I had scheduled on the Primrose unit at ROH. Only to find myself feeling rather foolish, if not out of touch, when the well-oiled machine saw me through the proceedure, with such competence, confidence, and even nonchalance given the professionalism of all of the staff. If a further proceedure was necessary, given the wonderful outcome I have experienced, I would be pushing to get to the head of the queue, rather than looking for the exit-door out of consternation.Thank you so much. Ralph Oakley
