My elderly mother and I attended the Accident and Emergency department as she was experiencing very bad vertigo and hearing loss which was worsening over the past 2 weeks. We were unable to see her GP as there were no appointments. We were extremely satisfied with the spotless surroundings in A&E. We were seen quickly and efficiently; the Nurse Practitioner was professional, knowledgable, empathetic and kind. Following her assessment and discussion with the doctor in A&E she arranged an appointment with the acute Medical Unit for the following working day. The Care Assistant was so helpful and whilst working with my mother and doing her vital signs and ECG she was respectful, caring and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend this hospital. It really is a hospital of excellence! We are so grateful for the their reassurance, compassion and fantastic care.
"Very happy. Brilliant hospital."
