I received an immediate referral to the hospital from my GP for a suspected appendicitis. On reaching the hospital A&E I was directed within an hour of arrival to the Surgical Assessment Unit for tests and observation. Albeit both departments were under pressure, I was dealt with efficiently and attended by caring staff. Tests led to me being admitted for further observation and infection treatment. Over a period of three days my condition stabilised and I was able to come home. At all times I was kept informed, and received timely tests/treatment by what I can only describe as a thorough caring process. I cannot fault the medical and nursing attention I was given, plus it was extremely pleasing to note the high standards of hygiene and cleanliness. I have also been informed of the follow up process regarding my condition going forward. Thank you MK Hospital
