My experience at Ealing hospital is quite mixed. My ante natal check ups and appts were fairly good.: the midwives and staff were mostly pleasant: however initially all were a bit standoffish but warmed up after .. However my after care .. ( I had a c section and had to stay at the hospital for almost 4 days... Those were the worst 4 days of my life. When they should have been the best considering I had just given birth to a healthy baby boy... The midwives in the ward were so rude and inconsiderate .. Some were the worst woman I have ever had the unfortunate pleasure to have met. I was told on day 2 that my c section was old news and I must do my self including bend over to pick up things from the floor .. Got no sleep or rest since all the babirs cried all night.. Even being in a private room made no difference. The midwives seemed annoyed and angry all the time! It was just horrible.i will never ever go back to this hospital if I ever have another baby! No help and no one bothered to help or care for me or my newborn.. I had my first baby in the us! And honestly. We mothers are treated like royalty and the nurses know how overly emotional you are after having a baby so are sympathetic and caring for the mother and the baby! I was very disappointed and horrified with the after care in the United Kingdom... .. A c section is a major operation! And they treated it like nothing..:
