What I liked

everyone took time to explain everything ,prior to any proceedure.i was anervous patient .the staff took this into concideration and made me feel totally relaxed about everything

What could be improved

nursing staff wages.dispite being very busy they always had time to take care of my various needsthey made me feel like all that cared was my needs and comforts

my previous encounter with surgery was in the 1970 i suffered trmatically.so this time round was very very nervous.the and dreading the experince.the anaesthetist was very reasuring and made my surgery totally pain free stress free,and actually enjoyable.i stayed awakish during surgery,via spinal anasesthetic and sedation.the recovery staff were really goodto me.ward 12 staff took really good care of me all the time.nouthing was to much for them,dispite being very busy hosptail food was really good actually.i have to say that what started out as something i thought was going to be a horrible experince turned out to be something of a enjoyable and plesent experince,from arrival , and surgery , recovery to bei9ng discharged i was pain free and very relaxed.this is credit to all i came in contact with...it is not untill you are at your weakest and most vunrable that you relize just how well hosptail staff work togeather to make you fell relaxed and comfortable.i might be needing futher treatment at this hosptail,and having just eperinced this caring people, i will not have sleepless nights worrying about forthcoming surgery.if you have any worries ..trust me .. they take time to make sure all your worries are taken care of .

just a special mention to dr who i was under. thakyou.

the only thing i can say to sum up my experince is to say, when the dr , nurses and thetre staff take time to demonstrate there confidence and professionalism , it inspires the same in the patient.they gave me total confidence in them prior to and during my proceedure and recovery..well done all of you..

but i still think staff wages should be improved..
