"my daughters 3 week stay on ward 25A"

About: Southmead Hospital

On the day of admission we were very pleased when she was taken to the ward to be meet by 2 nurses that she new from previous stays in Frenchay .(as she is severely sight impaired) so this made her and us feel much happier. The nursing staff are wonderful all so the domestic staff were very kind. She found the move makers very helpful and kind when she went down stairs to the shop or to the café. The one other comment I would make is that it would help if you had a leaflet on the clock that cause so much interest and makes you walk along with your head upwards towards the sky.

Dear Gilly – thank you for your positive feedback about your family’s experience of the care your daughter received in the new Brunel Building. I was pleased to learn that she was so well looked after. I have shared your comments about the leaflet explaining the “clock” with the appropriate area for consideration. Thank you again. Kind Regards – Steve Sykes Advice and Complaints Team
