About: King George Hospital

Tried to cancel an MRI for my mother. The number provided simply rang off with no answer [several times], so I called the main hospital switchboard to explain the situation. I received absolutely no acknoledgement from the opporator who showed absolutely no interest, she did not try the line or explain that I was being put though to an aswer machine. I left a message but was totally unprepared. I am away from Friday and have no confidence this will be resolved beforehand but become another onvieient missed appointment! It really takes nothing to be helpful.

I am sorry you were unable to reach the appointment line – thank you for commenting on NHS Choices. We have been working to improve our Outpatients call centre. I hope you able to eventually get through, however if you did not please contact our PALS team on 01708 435 454 or email PALS@bhrhospitals.nhs.uk who will be able to inform the team that you attempted to cancel the appointment.
