"Referral by GP for scan end June 2014"

Having changed GP as February 2014 diagnosis of pain and swelling as osteoarthritis seemed incorrect but was correctly diagnosed as having hernia s ie more than one by new GP I should know they come out when I cough and no I don't smoke GP referred me to Salford royal saying you will have appointment in 10 days I chase this but it's now 6 weeks and I have rung scan dept multiple times who have said no appointment given yet can't tell you when you'll have a scan! My physio says don't need scan just need an operation 'you have a blinder of a hernia on one side and a smaller one the other' so seems a deliberate stalling to have scan as it will be 18 weeks min after seeing specialist after the scan before have op maybe over 26 weeks so a year in pain where as go private and have it done in a week it's just outrageous Go to a&e and they refer me to general surgery but my life is on hold until then Nhs has let me down Salford Royal in particular
