I visited the Charles Clifford hospital in May for a consultation regarding a bad root canal procedure done by my normal dentist about 30 yrs ago. (See 3rd May review). Since my first consultation I had another bad episode of toothache due to the fact that I had not yet had my treatment at the Charles Clifford hospital to correct the mistakes made by my dentist. In July 2014 I had my two treatments. I was terrified on arrival, but was soon put at ease by the dentist and the dental nurse. The dentist was very understanding and friendly. I didn't even feel the injection to numb the area which was being treated. The dentist who did my procedure was very thorough, and used up to date equipment (micro technology) to make sure any infection would be eliminated. He warned me that my mouth may be sore that evening but would gradually get better. I returned for my second treatment to have the temporary filling out and a little bit more cleaning of the root canal. I then went on holiday with an easy mind, knowing that I had had the best treatment possible. If he was my regular dentist, I would never worry about visiting the dentist again. I had excellent care.
