"Breast surgery on ward 4"

To begin , I cannot thank enough the breast care team at North Tees and Hartlepool hospitals, especially my consultant and his fantastic team who were absolutely marvellous. The specialst breast nurses , one who is based at North Tees and the other who is based at Hartlepool hospital were wonderful, very knowledgeable and supportive at a very difficult and stressful time in my life . I felt that they " walked the extra mile " for me . My surgery took place at Hartlepool hospital and every one was so caring and kind , from the gentleman on reception to the theatre nurse who was with me on the day. After my surgery I then spent 2 nights and 3 days on ward 4. The nurses and health care assistants were very supportive , patient & so helpful . Also the dr was exemplary. So a very heart felt thank - you to the team at Hartlepool who were simply marvellous.
