I attended ward 35 Hull Royal Infirmary for an operation on a detached retina. The operation was done in the morning after a diagnosis the previous afternoon and I stayed in hospital for one night. I was highly delighted with the standard of care I received. I found all the surgeons, doctors and nurses that I came into contact with to be very professional, kind, caring and efficient. The facilities in the ward seemed excellent. There was a relaxed friendly atmosphere in the ward and I could see another patient who was less well than myself being treated with great kindness and dignity. I hope anyone going into ward 35 has the same positive experience that I had, as I certainly went home thinking what wonderful people they all are. Many thanks to you all.
