"My experience of NHS 111"

The NHS 111 is rubbish I think and does not take the strain of other health care services, for example ambulance services or GP services. If you phone them up a call handler that is not necessary medically trained and is just trained in handling the call will answer the call and probably run through a script. The script seems to vary depending on what ones complaint is. For example if you had a headache they seem to run through a script on a headache. They input answers based on what you tell them from the questions they asked and it shows them where to recommend you. It seems to be generally your GP. This is all they do and occasionally may transfer to a clinician which will just offer you advice that you probably already know yourself. They don't seem to offer you any diagnoses of what it may be or nothing like this.
