I went in after being sent by my GP. I had a mole under my eye. This was took off and tested by dermatology. Only week later I was asked to go back. Didnt think anythink was wrong as dermatology said we could leave it. I asked them to remove it. I was then told it was skin cancer. Basal cell carcinoma. They then referred me to the eye specialist. I later had two operations. Eye lid reconstruction. Who I am still under now. They were fantastic and all times staff were Amazing. The support at all time was great. Can never thank them enough. The only complaint I had at the time was my consultant said it would of been much easier if dermatology had left the mole on so he could see it. And the first operation I was the last one to have my operation my only complaint was partners had to wait outside. I think is wrong while the patient is waiting . As I suffer from white coat sydrome and felt nervous. So for hours didnt have my hubby to talk to. But other than that can not fault the hosiptal thankyou to the eye hospital
