"Outstanding"

I am extremely pleased with the care I received on the delivery suite at SRH. After a particularly quick labour and delivery I unfortunately had to be taken for emergency surgery. Every member of staff I came into contact with were friendly and professional. I was explained the implications of what was happening and I was made to feel at ease. I was given advice on aftercare at the time discharge from the delivery suite. The facilities at the delivery suite are excellent. I particularly like the fact that each family has a private room with ensuite facilities. This gave us the chance to bond with our baby by ourselves in a relaxed environment. I also like that my partner was able to visit at almost any time and was given the opportunity to stay overnight. I would like to thank all of the staff at the delivery suite and other hospital staff who came in to do the routine checks on myself and my son. The one and only downside I can think of is that it seemed to take a long time before I was able to be discharged and there was a lot of waiting around for prescriptions, etc. At a time of staff shortages and funding cuts, I feel the service provided was second to none and I could not have wished for any better. I will, without a doubt be recommending SRH to others. Thank you again.
