"Service was excellent from pre-op to surgery"

About: Wycombe Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

Just a quick summary of what happened after I found out I had an Umbilical Hernia.

I was referred to Wycombe Hospital and the service was excellent from the day I had the pre op appointment to the surgery itself. I was admitted in late July very well looked after by the staff on entry to the Day Surgery Unit right through to the Surgery Staff.

I am now 3 weeks afeter surgery feeling great and thanks to the Surgeon Shaun Appleton, the Theatre Staff and the Day Surgery Staff life is now better than ever. No pressure on my stomach anymore, no protruding of the stomach at all.

I would recommend to all those who are having a hernia of any kind that this is by far something that is simple, some pain but very bearable and goes after a week. So what are you waiting for, have it done and start a fresh by feeling great again.

And please look after the staff, they are partial to Chocolates! Thanks to all the staff at Wycombe Hospital, Bucks XXXXX
