I have been taken to A&E four times this year. Last Monday evening I was unwell and pressed my Lifeline. The paramedic and ambulance arrived within 5 minutes. Ambulance staff were so professional and yet managed to calm me down. On arrival at A&E I was taken to 're-sus' where I received immediate treatment by the doctor and nurse who was wonderful. I was later transferred to MAU where again the treatment was excellent. The only problem I had was with an agency nurse who had clearly failed her exam in the charm school! The newspapers are so full of adverse reports about the hospital but I have only praise for the care that I have received. Maybe I am just lucky but (except for the food) I feel that the staff work extremely hard often under difficult circumstances and are subject to constant criticism. Thank you.
"Thank you"
