"Emergency admission at 4am"

About: St Mary's Hospital (Newport)

Visitor to IOW, called ambulance at about 4 am with severe pain. Speedy transport to A&E where condition was quickly assessed and given variety IV pain killers and admitted. My wife tells me I was not best or quietest patient but both ambulance and A&E staff did their utmost to relieve pain. In fact impressed throughout by care I received, thanks to all staff involved.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with this valuable feedback. Your comments have been shared with the staff in both A&E and the Ambulance Service. I was pleased to hear you were assessed and treated quickly in order to manage your condition, and I am pleased that your experience with the Isle of Wight NHS Trust was a positive one. I do hope that you have recovered well.
