"A Big Thank You"

About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital (Gateshead)

My husband was recently admitted to ward 8 coronary care and I would like to say that I can not speak too highly of the care he received during his stay. The entire staff on that ward from Consultants, doctors nurses and domestics are second to none. They always had time to answer any questions or concerns I had, and made his stay a very comfortable one. Might I add that we were also very impressed with the meals which we thought were of a very high standard and well presented. Again, they went out of their way to ensure he was served an alternative if he couldn't eat what was available on any day. Thank you so much, He is now at home, and hopefully will continue to improve. Thank you Ward 8 You all deserve medals.
