My husband was admitted to CCU via A&E and was in a very serious condition. We have yet to discover the reasons for him being unwell. I can't praise the staff and environment highly enough- everyone from the consultants to the housekeeping staff .were wonderful. I felt he was safe and cared for and the support from the various team members was incredible. Not just providing the medical care he needed but were kind and supportive to myself, our son and our entire circle, because we don't have a traditional family. Even our dog was allowed a visit when my husband was feeling down. It was probably the most horrific 12 days of my life and they made it bearable and even manged to make me smile at a time when I didn't think that was possible. Quite possibly the most amazing department in the hospital and not given a slot in the drop box list. Shocking!
