My Mother was experiencing breathing difficulties and has a link to a care line. We initially alerted the care line people who suggested in this case it would be quicker for us to call 999.
The paramedics, two ladies called Hannah and Eve, were absolutely brilliant, very calming and reassuring. They explained what they were doing, different tests they were conducting, kept us informed about the results and were lovely all the way to seeing my Mother admitted to Dorchester Hospital.
This was the first time in hospital, since she was 11, for my Mother – she is 97 now!
She was kept in hospital, where she was quite happy, for 6 days.
