A review of the Pru this experience is true
1. Unacceptable food - sandwich – thick white bread smeared with? ? – very thin ham, half a tomato – verdict disgusting.
Remedy – I wrote to caterers complaining
2. Salad unavailable – suggest as at St. Thomas’s’ hospital small sealed plastic boxes with a choice of a fish or meat (chicken or tuna etc..)
On discharge form hospital, all my clothes were missing including a new pair of orthopaedic shoes and a purse containing about £5. 00. Six months after claiming compensation and a letter to the local paper, I eventually received payment for my claim of £80. 00
A very rude member of the cleaning staff once again another letter. And then a totally miserable breakfast trolley staff – how about a greeting with a smile.
The Beacon Beckenham – nice little hospital – short staffed asked a member of the staff to take me to the toilet replied NOT QUALIFIED! That says it all
And now to St Mary’s Sidcup – phoned me one Tuesday morning to inform me that my husband had died (albeit 5 years ago)?
Once again I promote St Thomas’s pleasant staff and good edible food.
