About: Montagu Hospital / Pain Management

(as the patient),

After establishing the risks and short term benefits of injections in my spine I declined this option.

I asked what the outcome of taking medication would be. I was informed it may affect my kidneys/liver. The consultation was brought to a conclusion and I left feeling confused. I am left wondering whether an X-ray/scan be offered may show any long term damage or at least a drug review to find the best medication for me.

I was told that if I wanted the injections to go back to G. P. for referral back to pain management.
