"Swelling at the side of my knee"

I have a swelling at the side of my knee which has steadily grown to the size of a satsuma. My doctor referred me to see a consultant. I was offered a choice of hospitals. A few days before my appointment I knocked my knee which left me in agony. The consultant (Mr Sabboubeh) was extremely kind and helpful. When he saw I had difficulty walking he referred me to the physiotherapy department for some crutches and I was fortunate to get them straight away as they has a cancellation. I am now waiting for an ultrasound appointment. Everything was explained to me. All in all I was very impressed with everything and have no complaints.
