"Trauma and SSIP Wards"

About: John Radcliffe Hospital

2 days in Trauma Ward, 2 operations later and down to SSIP, Laid flat on my back for 10 days with the nurses doing everything for me, I found them willing to help with everything, always smiling and making me laugh and most of all always being positive about my situation, nothing was to much trouble. They were very patient and after 18 days they managed to get me on a zimmer frame. I am really grateful for their excellent care, after 20 days I was allowed home, now I am on the long road to recovery thanks to the whole team from the cleaner to the Surgeons. Thank you so much.

Response from John Radcliffe Hospital

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience, especially after such a busy stay in hospital. It is good to know that our staff on both Trauma and SSIP provided such fantastic care, and that you felt you were in good hands. It has been a pleasure to pass on your thanks to the teams in Trauma, and in Specialist Surgery, who looked after you. Your feedback is greatly valued by our staff, who love knowing that the care they give is of a high standard, and is valued so much by patients. I hope that you are recovering well.
