"Forth Valley Hospital"

I had reason to visit the Forth Valley Hospital in Larbert last week in the evening with severe shoulder pain.

I was ushered into a cubicle and seen by a nurse practitioner who informed me my case would need to be referred to a doctor because of underlying ongoing issues.

After waiting a further 2 hours an extremely rude, unhelpful young doctor appeared and with minimum time and attention packed me off home.

During my 3 hour stay, my elderly Mother was shown into the treatment area without my consent being asked or granted, meaning when I was discharged, I couldn't find her in the main waiting area and indeed spent the next 10 minutes trying to locate her. All this after she had been assured she would meet me on the way out.

My cubicle also had blood stains all over the floor which nobody made any attempt to clear up.

I had heard good things about this hospital, but judging by my experience they were very much misplaced.
