"Unsure of TRAQS role"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as a service user),

The physiotherapist and assistant were most helpful. The physio department provided an excellent service.

I am not always sure who has rung from TRAQS or understand their role

Dear Red934

Thank you for providing feedback on your recent referral.

TRAQS was established in June 2012 with the aim of providing patients with a choice of hospital/community clinic and a convenient date/time for their appointment. TRAQS is able to offer patients NHS appointments within England.

Members of the TRAQS team will always give their name when contacting patients to book an appointment. If a patient is not aware of TRAQS and not happy to discuss their confidential information we are happy to send a letter requesting that the patient contacts the TRAQS team and we will be happy to discuss their specific requirements at a later date.

All GP practices have been supplied with Patient Leaflets which explains how TRAQS works and what happens next. It would seem that you were not provided with one of our leaflets and for this I can only apologise on behalf of your GP practice.

Thank you again for sharing your feedback and we wish you all the best with your treatment.
