"Begining to look shabby"

About: Southmead Hospital

This brand new hospital only opened a few months ago, and is already beginning to look shabby and uncared for. A large glass panel above the main entrance had shattered in position, but no attempt had been made to cordon off the area for public safety. I watched as the carpet inside the main door was give a cursory hoover, it looked just as bad afterwards. There were rubber seals on push open doors that were hanging off. The floor looks grubby and scuffed, and not enough attention has been payed to wiping the skirting board. This is only the public area that I've seen. The cleanest area that I could see were the coffee shops and shop ( they obviously care about their image).

Dear Anonymous – thank you for taking the time and trouble to post your views of the new Brunel Building. I regret that you found the building beginning to look shabby. The Trust is very proud of the new facilities and so I will feed back your views to the facilities manager to ensure that the building is maintain to the standard we expect. Kind Regards – Steve Sykes Advice and Complaints Team
