"I feel a lot better about myself and am in control of my future"

About: Ashley House / Recovery service

(as a service user),

When I first came to Ashley house, I felt very depressed I was homeless for 6. 5 months, my benefits had been stopped so I had no money.

I needed support with my alcohol and cannabis use and was allocated a worker called Clare.

Since coming into Ashley House I have been referred to SHAP (Andrew) by Clare who supported me in finding a property. 2 weeks ago I finally moved into my flat! I have also began to build positive relationships with my children.

I now attend Ashley House weekly, one motivation group, I have completed the EBI sessions and am part of the Ashley House fishing club. I have been alcohol free for over a month! I feel a lot better in myself and am in control of my future.

Thank you Ashley House.
