"My whole experience was handled in an excellent way"

I was in a very distressed state when I say my GP. My daughter-in-law had recently had major heart surgery and I had just heard my son-in-law was diagnosed with a serious cancer.

My GP was brilliant and asked if I would be prepared to consider counselling. I remember saying “I will do anything to make me cope! ” I was seen within 7 days and regularly for about a month.

My practitioner was brilliant, she made me realise not looking after myself eg not eating or sleeping was very bad for my general health. She offered various techniques to help me cope. I have so much to thank her for. She also fitted my appointments in around my work commitments.
