"I was worried I would have this problem for the rest of my life but not so"

About: Locala Community Partnerships CIC / Continence advisory service

(as the patient),

I was suffering with over active bladder and saw the advert on television. So I got in touch with my local clinic which made an appointment to see a nurse from the first day I went I felt comfortable.

She asked some questions which I answered and from then onwards I started treatment. In between my visits she would telephone me to see how things were going.

I was worried of my age, 89 years I thought I would have this problem for the rest of my life but not so.

I have been dry for the past three weeks with tablets I take. What a difference I must say, Julie was the lady at Eddercliffe was very nice and made me feel comfortable.

Thankyou very much for your feedback about the experience you have had using our service. It really does highlight that age is not a barrier to having good bladder control.

Our clinical staff are experts in their field and give advice about lifestyle changes and appropriate medication to help improve symptoms. I'm delighted that you found the telephone consultations so helpful. Our service often uses telephone and online consultations rather than face to face appointments as many patients find this far more convenient.

I hope you continue to enjoy the benefits of your good bladder control!
