"After receiving acupuncture my well being soon returned to normal."

About: Montagu Hospital / Pain Management

(as the patient),

4 years ago I hurt my back while pulling up my grandsons pants after visiting the toilet, the pain was unbearable and I nearly collapsed. I managed to get home and got an emergency appointment at my doctors, from there I was sent for an MRI and other tests.

Because of the damage to my discs the surgeon told me surgery was out of the question and I had got to learn to live with it. I went and had to see a cyropractor and that made it easier and she suggested acupuncture both of which I had to pay for.

I found that the acupuncture helped me and I was pain free for about a month (left with niggles not full blown pain) as I had got to the stage where I even considered taking my own life if I had to live in that much pain as it had affected my sciatic nerve and changed my toilet habits. My daughter and my husband were so concerned that they got my doctors out to see me at home. He arranged for some new tab and to see pain management doctor at mexbro mantagu hospital.

I was soon receiving acupuncture on a regular basis and my well being soon returned to normal. I still receive acupuncture every six weeks and do not think I can go on with out it.

Thanks Mexbro Montagu.
