"My community matrons put me at ease"

About: Central Lancashire PCT / Community nursing

(as the patient),

My community matrons Mary and Marie are great at caring as they put me at ease. They are not just my matrons, they're my friends. They help me come up with answers to my problems. I don't know what I would do without them. We talk about my condition and they explain things clearly to me. They enquire after my wife which is so kind of them to do so. After each visit I look forward to seeing them again, just like any close friend. This service has helped me so I don't need to go back to hospital.

Dear Colourful770

The comments you have made really represent what the Community Matron Service aims to do.

You mention how caring Mary and Marie (I think that might be Anne-Marie) are, how they listen to you and provide advice and that as a result of their support, you have not needed to go back into hospital.

I let Mary and Marie know about the compliment that you have made. Thank you for getting in touch and letting us know about your experience.
