"Poor service from District Nurses in Trafford"

Poor aftercare from District Nurses.

In May 2014, I had a knee operation at Trafford General. I received first class care when I was in there but my aftercare was none.

The District Nurse had said she would visit me at home to take the clips out but she never turned up and no-one ever phoned me to tell me why. My husband tried phoning to get a nurse but was told they’d all gone home.

The annoying thing is that I later found out that the nurse who was meant to see me was off work on that day. The hospital should have rung me to tell me that. I was in agony and no-one bothered to ring me.
