"Vist to the eye department"

About: Royal Hallamshire Hospital

My husband visted the eye dapartment has following a eye test at our local opticians it showed he had lost some sight in his eye they said they would request for a consultant to see him at the hospital we waited 12 weeks and still heard nothing we was then referd back to another opticians for them to do the same test as before they couldn't beileve why was referd to them on then transferring it back to the hospital we got an appointment the following week on arrival to the hospital we was checking into every reception only for them to say go threw this door and that door one off the receptionist was very rude and bad mannerd has we interrupted the morning chat with one off the staff. My husband then had an eye test which he then was took poorly so had to finish it we then waited in a waiting room outside a door that a support worker told us to sit outside but everyone was going in different rooms. The eye clinic was very in organised on seeing a consultant, the consultant said his eyes was fine and go back to the gp. I had to stand my ground and say my husband wasn't leaving till he saw someone after some discussion he was sent to a neuro surgeon, who was great. We spoke and threw all the symptoms, the surgeon then organised bloods medication and a MRI scan we knew more in then short 20 mins then the 1 hour we was there before.
