"Day Surgey Unit"

I recently underwent a hernia operation at the Day Unit at Cumberland Infirmary, this was preceded by an initial consultation with the Consultant then a pre-operation assessment a few weeks later. The whole process worked smoothly and without a problem. For the operation itself, the Day Surgery staff (in Admissions, Theatre and Recovery) were kind, helpful, informative and went out of their way to be helpful at every point, from arriving to leaving the Hospital. The Consultant was excellent, very approachable and someone I felt safe with. The whole treatment was exemplary and I cannot speak highly enough of my experience at the Cumberland Infirmary
