"A&E attendance on 20/7/14"

About: Hammersmith Hospital

I was taken by ambulance to A&E after a locum GP had examined me for an attack of vertigo & found a low pulse. (The ambulance crew did an ECG & decided I needed to be checked). From the moment I arrived at A&E, the wonderful NHS machine swung into action. I was given another ECG & every other test - a full "M.o.T." & finally given the all clear. The doctor who attended me was charming & efficient, as were the nursing staff. I was discharged less than 2 hours after arrival (admittedly still suffering the symptoms of vertigo), with a full written statement of the investigations & treatment. Please convey my thanks to all concerned - I could not have wished for better treatment. Yours truly, Tony Yarnold
