"Gastrocopy Dept"

I was met at the door and escorted to a bay with toilet facilities and a cupboard for my clothes it was explained to me exactly what was going to happen. When I was taken to the theatre there was a very friendly and reassuring nurse to deal with the preliminaries. Having done that I was asked whether I wanted sedation and having said yes I don't remember anything else until I was told that I was going back to the ward. All the information about my investigation was then given to me and after several precautions I was given a delicious pot of tea served on a tray with biscuits and allowed to rest before being collected by my husband. Wonderful treatment.
