"I had Mastoid Exporation/Obliteration and..."

I was operated on Wednesday 31st July, the surgeon and his team were absolutely excellent. The anaesthetist and his assistant put my mind at rest from the moment they walked me to the theatre. The recovery team were also excellent and very patient. My only observation is that I would have liked the recovery team to explain in a little more detail what I can and can't do post the operation. Also, I was not advised as to when I can go back to work and was not offered a doctors certificate for work. This might be usual practice however I've not had an operation for many years. All in all a great experience and if you are going for surgery at St Mary's, you're in great hands.
