I sent a complaint to pals.service@wmuh.nhs.uk on the 16th July and I have not received a response back nor have I received an acknowlegement from them! The only good part to this unit is the Special Care unit and that is all. The receptionists all but one in particular to the nurses and midwifes are all unprofessional and rude! They have midwifes in the triage part who do not want to see you unless your meant to have your baby there so if there is any like myself who was out of my area and went into labour forget this hospital as you have to argue with them to be seen. Worst thing was my pregnancy was a high risk complicated pregnancy and my baby was premature. I was left in the antenatal ward until the moment I started pushing and that was all because the nurse who was meant to look after me was too busy doing god knows what... There was midwifes watching me cling onto the walls when I needed to go toilet as I was in that much pain and no one there to help me to my bed. They knew my baby was going to be 8 weeks early and the nurse assigned to me did not pay any attention to me at all. The nurse in delivery with did not even catch my baby when he came out and my baby landed on the table. Next time im having contractions and am near west middlesex I will make sure I do the 2 hour journey back to my hospital atleast then I will know me and my baby will be safe. What a disgrace!
