"unacceptable behaviour"

About: Bristol Eye Hospital

A relative came into your hospital for a cateract operation recently, we were informed we wouldn't be able to wait with her and this was fine because we were aware of this as it was in the leaflet we received. I explained to the nurse that she was elderly and would become very frightened if she needed help and couldn't find anyone to help her, she didn't reply apart from raising her eyebrows and turning away, I refused to lower myself to this level and continued to be respectful to her and offered her my mobile no so they could contact myself when my relative was ready to be picked up. The nurse then shouted at me (and yes I was shouted at!) "well can't you leave your no with the patient!" I was totally shocked and disgusted. This is unbelievable behaviour from a so called professional.
