I have had severe abdominal pains since December and have been hospitalised with it. I attended my GP in Essex in January and had scans in Feb. The GP didn't know where to refer me so I waited to hear from a specialist he was consulting.
In March I quit my job and moved house due to my illness and registered with GP in Telford. It took several weeks for them to get all imaging from Essex and I was “not urgent”. In May my GP said he was also unsure where to refer me to – very ‘devil may care’ attitude and it was suggested I go private!
