"Hernia op at Russells Hall by a 70 year old..."

About: Russells Hall Hospital

Entered Russells Hall Hospital as a day patient for a routine Hernia operation but not without some trepidation as I have very little hospital experience. From start to finish I was treated with respect and spoken to as an intelligent member of the human race. Everything that was to happen was explained in detail and I could not fault any member of staff that I came into contact with. They were all excellent. The operation itself has been entirely successful. So although it was not an experience that I was looking forward to, I have nothing but praise for the Hospital. Even the Corned Beef Hash that I ate in the ward after the operation was really good!

Thank you, Geoff, for posting your positive feedback and for giving a five star rating for the team in day case surgery. Coming to hospital can be a daunting experience especially when it is your first time and so it is pleasing to hear how well our staff looked after you before, during and after your procedure. Our catering team will also be pleased you enjoyed the corned beef hash. We are in the process of updating our menus, taking into account patient feedback, and so it is good to see we are moving in the right direction. We have passed your comments onto the team in day surgery and catering.
