"My family are happy that I am here"

About: Airedale Centre for Mental Health / Adult mental health service

(as a service user),

I was admitted as I was suicidal. I was hearing voices. They were scary voices. My husband and son brought me here.

I have been treated really well. People talked to me about things that help me get well.

We go for walks, browse the internet. I never get bored. My family are happy that I am here. I still hear voices and scary thoughts, I really hope I get well.

I am really sorry to hear about how poorly you were and hope you are feeling better. The walks, and having things to do sound to be helping you to focus on something on and give you things to look forward to. It is particularly encouraging to hear about how well you were treated. All our staff work hard to help people and they will be really pleased to receive your comments.

Thank you so much for taking the time to talk to us despite you not feeling 100%. May we wish you continued improvement in your health and hope to hear from you again to let us know when you feel better.
