"Treated with respect and kindness"

About: Stepping Hill Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

Yesterday evening I had to attend Stepping Hill A&E to get a self-harm wound stitched. This was one of a number of very recent visits due to difficulties in a mental health crisis resulting in using self-harm to cope.

I was assessed and stitched by a locum Dr. I felt treated with respect and kindness despite the injury being self-inflicted. I am grateful for that.
