Several weeks ago I was extremely lucky to have had a new hip operation at Lewisham Hospital, performed by the brilliant surgeon, Dr Daneshfar. Dr Daneshfar, the anaesthetist, nurses in pre-op and recovery, thank you for taking great care of me. You said all will be well and true to your word it was. I knew I was in safe hands.
Dr Daneshfar, thank you so much for leaving me with a small scar.
Grateful thanks goes to Debbie, Nicky and Julie at the "Hip and Knee Club" - the advice was very helpful. Thank you also to the lady physios at the hospital for getting me on my feet the afternoon of my operation. Also big thank you to physio Tara for continuing the good work after arriving home.
My stay in Latch Ward was very comfortable. The ward was clean and fresh - thank you cleaning staff and thanks also goes to the domestic staff for serving tasty food.
In Latch Wood I was attended by marvellous nurses, wearing crisp white uniforms with big cheerful, friendly smiles. Nothing fazed them or was too much trouble for them. Ladies, I don't know how you manage it like you do, but I do know you manage it with style. Big loving thank you's to you all.
Finally, thanks to Ricky the ambulance driver for returning me home safely.
I appreciated everyone's help in getting me better, and I'm truly indebted to you all. My grateful thanks to everyone at Lewisham Hospital.
