I have never been so appaled with the standards and service that my partner has revieved at this hospital. My partner is on a surgical ward which has an absolutely abysmal level of cleanliness. The walls are marked with dirt, they could definitely do with a clean and a fresh coat of paint. Beds are left for long periods of time without being cleaned and made by nurses. The floors were also a disgrace, they appeared to look as if they had not been cleaned since we arrived if not longer. The nurses are rude, unprofessional and carry the upmost disrespect to every patient. They have the inability to listen to a single thing you say and will take any chance to ignore or disregard requests and questions. I also understand that hospitals are fast paced and busy environments to work in but the way my partner was treated was disrespectful and highly disappointing consider we are said to have the best health care. It would see to me that a lot of the staff do not follow the high standard of care which should be implemented during training.
"complete and utter disgrace."
