"Was left an ambiguous message on my phone"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as the patient),

When I was contacted by the TRAQS team I had not long undertaken a test for cancer. The TRAQS team left an ambiguous message on my answer phone that gave no detail, this practice could be a source of stress. Please think about what type of message you leave!

Dear 'Note576'

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback.

We are sorry that the message TRAQS left on your answering machine gave you cause for concern. Unfortunately due to patient confidentiality reasons we are unable to leave a detailed message for a patient. A reason for this is that we may have the incorrect number and therefore a basic message explaining who we are and to call back does not breach the confidentiality of the patient.

Apologies for any inconvienience caused.
