What I liked Car parking is brilliant and the reception staff are very friendly and helfpful. What could be improved? Blood Clinic: I weas referred for a blood test by my GP. All of the clinics are during workings hours. The morning I attended there were 38 people ahead of me in the queue! I could not take all morning from work to have a blood test. Palatine clinic: my family planning clinic at the GP surgery closed - we were told to attend the hospital. Again, all of the clinics are run during working hours! They are open until 6.30pm, but on the 2 occasions that I have attended, I have not been able to be seen due to staffing problems e.g. one male doctor which requires one of the nurses to act as a chaperone, or too many people waiting to be seen so that I cannot be seen. The later you arrive, the less likely you are to be seen! Anything else? I am happy to use the community hospital instead of my GP surgery, but the routince clinics need to be scheduled so that people do not have to take time off work to get a blood test or contraception.
