"Excellent care at the Horton Hospital for bleeding ulcer"

About: Horton General Hospital / Gastroenterology

(as the patient),

I was rushed to the Horton Hospital early last December with a bleeding gastric ulcer where I was pleasantly shocked by the care and compassion of the members of staff in E Ward. They were polite, helpful and compassionate. My medications were on time, the food was good, the ward was clean and it was the best stay in hospital I've ever experienced in my life(I am well qualified to judge as I am an Insulin Dependent diabetic of 37 years duration, with some complications).Well done E Ward and thank you for restoring my faith in the NHS
